Specialist Maxi log splitters have been designed and built for the professional user. The machines have splitting forces ranging from 8.5 to 20 tonnes and are able to cut logs up to 1.13m in length. There are three types of Maxi splitter, the Maxi I, the Maxi R and Maxi DE.

Maxi I machines have a high level workbench and rams of 35cm and 50cm in length and with 8.5 or 10 tonne splitting forces are suitable for the commercial splitting of shorter logs. The workbench can be set in three different positions to give maximum splitting lengths of 36, 50 and 70cm. Removable extension tables are included in the machine to give a larger working area. The machines are robust, have faster cycle times than the smaller splitters and are designed for heavy use.

The Maxi R and Maxi DE machines have splitting forces of 12 to 20 tonnes and are suitable for the commercial splitting of longer logs. Maxi R machines have a low level rotary workbench that can be moved to the side for work at floor level. Maxi DE machines have a low level floor mounted table which can be removed for splitting large heavy rings up to 1.5m in diameter.
