Paddle Flails

The Professional range feature a paddle type flail which gives a higher quality finish than traditional back to back flails. They also create the air flow required to effectively transfer the cut material into the hopper without requiring extra ‘draft/wind paddles’ which are expensive to replace and can cause imbalance and vibration on the rotor shaft. Flail maintenance is made easy by the rotor inspection door which allows full access to the blades and rotor from above.

The Professional range provides machines suitable for a number of tasks. Mowing and collecting of fine grass, coarse grass and even areas set aside for conservation and wild flowers can be quickly and easily returned to prime condition with simple changes to flails and settings on the machines. Quick and accurate adjusters with graduated scales ensure precise control of cutting height and more importantly scarifying depth for a perfect finish in any situation. The access door allows quick and easy maintenance of the flail rotor, changing of cutting and scarifying blades and cleaning of the machine after work.

Over seeding adds further flexibility

With the addition of the optional over seeding unit, the Professional collector makes the ideal turf maintenance tool, as it allows for improvement of existing sports turf surfaces without disruption to play. The scarifying operation removes old dead grass, moss and thatch and provides a small groove into which new seeds can easily germinate surrounded by moisture and protected by existing ground cover until established. Accurate metering of seed through an easily adjustable gate valve is fed by an electrically driven brush which prevents grass seed bridging in the hopper and provides an even flow to the feed chute.
