Standard specification includes;
- Twin pump independent hydraulics with oil cooler
(option on KS500)
- Parallel arm geometry
- Main arm float and floating head
- Reversible rotor
- Cable controls
- Power slew of 90º (45º on KS500) and auto reset hydraulic break back
- 5 to 6 metre reach (depending on model)
- Robust heavy duty construction
- Additional reach of up to 9.5m available with standard arm geometry and telescopic arms on Kompass base unit.

Four different models;
- KS500: Base unit for tractor over 60hp, 5m reach with
parallel arm action
- KS550: High specification machine with 5.5m reach
- KS600T: High specification machine for tractors over
70hp, with telescopic second arm and 6m reach
- KA550: Contractors’ machine for tractors over 70hp
with forward reach head for improved visibility

The Kompass range share a common chassis design which provides the strength required to mount the different arm options. In addition the KS600T has a 1m telescopic second arm offering compact dimensions in awkward situations, but larger machine capacity when required.
The KA550 features a hydraulically controlled parallel second arm which moves the cutting head in to the operator’s line of vision (1.2m forward + 1.2m back)

Kompass Range
Standard specification includes; Parallel arm geometry, 8mm back to back flail, Twin pump independent hydraulics, Reversible rotor, Head float, 246° rotation of head. Cable controls, Power slew with auto reset breakaway device, Adjustable height heavy duty rear roller 150mm diameter, Linkage stabilizing kit, rear bumper with lights and forklift tine brackets. KA550 includes oil cooler as standard (option on other models)

Extra Reach; With standard arm geometry and telescopic arms the Kompass base unit is available with reaches of up to 9.5 metres, please ask for details on these specialist machines. The Kompass is available with most flail options. Flail type should be specified at time of order otherwise standard flails will be supplied.
