Ryetec Attends the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation Awards Evening

Ryetec was honored to attend the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation Awards Evening—a truly unforgettable night filled with inspiration, emotion, and hope. A big thank you to Doddie the Icon for inviting us to be part of such a special event, which celebrated the incredible efforts of everyone involved in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The evening was hosted by the brilliant Gabby Logan, who arrived in style aboard the My Name’5 Doddie Fastrac, complete with a Ryetec Workbox on the front! Seeing our equipment featured as part of this remarkable event was a moment of pride for the entire team.

Listening to the emotional and heartfelt stories of those living with MND brought home just how devastating this disease is. Their courage in raising awareness and funds to support future generations in the fight against MND was both humbling and inspiring. It was a poignant reminder of why Doddie’s work, and the foundation’s mission, continues to be so important. We’re thrilled to be involved with such a meaningful cause and look forward to sharing more news soon about how we’ll be helping to raise additional funds for the foundation.

A special shoutout to Ben from Kingsfield Contracting, who we met at the end of the evening while he was collecting his uncle during a salt-spreading run in Edinburgh. Ben’s introduction to Doddie the Icon was what set the wheels in motion for our charity box project. Thank you, Ben, for your continued support and connection to this incredible cause. It was a night to remember, and we’re proud to stand alongside the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation in their mission to find a cure for this cruel disease.
