RYETEC AT CEREALS 2025 | HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE UK’S LEADING AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY SHOW

Filmed live at Cereals 2025, this video captures Ryetec’s first day at the show, where the team unveiled a full display of British-manufactured agricultural and groundcare machinery. Having exhibited at Cereals for more than 20 years, Ryetec has grown from showcasing imported mower collectors to producing an entire UK-built range that reflects its commitment to innovation and engineering quality.

George from Ryetec begins the day’s tour, introducing viewers to the stand and the wide range of machinery on display. The lineup included the popular Restorer Subsoiler series, featuring both four-metre and six-metre versions, each equipped with rear packers and three-point linkage options for flexible use in the field. The Restorer range continues to attract attention for its balance of strength, adjustability, and soil protection, ideal for both contractors and large-scale farms.

The team also presented several models from the Workbox and Weightbox range, including compact 400 kg boxes and larger 1,500 kg models. These are available with detachable bumpers, front-mounted rollers, and under-slung belly weights, giving operators the flexibility to adjust ballast and storage capacity depending on the job.

Among the highlights was the debut of Ryetec’s new Track Eradicator, a versatile attachment designed to relieve compaction from tractor wheelings. The system can be configured with twin legs or twin discs on one side and a single on the other, allowing easy adaptation to different track widths and soil conditions. It quickly became one of the show’s talking points.

George also showcased the Zocon range of seeders and greenkeepers, available under the UK’s FETF grant scheme, as well as the new LT Workbox, a dealer-ready model designed as a standard, entry-level option ranging from 400 kg to 1,500 kg. The team explained how each product offers practical, real-world solutions for working farms and estates.

Throughout the day, the Ryetec stand attracted a steady stream of visitors. Max and Spanner caught up with customers old and new, discussing everything from soil health and machinery setup to field demonstrations. The video also captures their trademark humour and banter with visitors, adding a personal touch that Ryetec has become known for.

Later in the afternoon, founder Mark Harrison reflected on how far Ryetec has come since first attending the event. “We’ve been coming to Cereals for around 20 years,” he says. “Back then, we were mainly showing mower collectors and forestry equipment, but it’s been amazing to see the progression. Now, we’ve got a stand full of our own UK-built machines, the Restorers, Workboxes, and subsoilers, alongside the imported products that started it all.”

By mid-afternoon, the Ryetec team were sunburned but satisfied. Jordan from Ryetec summed up the day: “It’s flown by, but the response has been brilliant. The hot topics have been our compact boxes and the Restorer range, and the feedback has been really positive. We’ve had great conversations with customers, dealers, and visitors across the board.”

While the focus was firmly on machinery, the team also kept the traditional Ryetec Beer Giveaway alive, ensuring everyone left the stand refreshed and smiling. As Max put it with a grin, “We might not have sold many machines today, but we’ve definitely sold out of beer, and that’s a good start.”
